I tried to install the pavikion audio vista drivers from HP’s website tried both Conexant and Realtek, and the older ones also but it kept giving me the error: After running it successfully one time it rebooted the computer but the “x” hp pavilion dv9700 audio still there I was unable to run it successfully again “No Driver was supported in this driver package”.

Can i change cv9700, or is it onboard on the mainboard? Is this a good question? When attempting to enable I was asked to reboot. The easiest answer to this may be do hp pavilion dv9700 audio out a Windows System Restore.
