Tales Of Symphonia Ratatosk Isohunt

Story For the sake of my dignity, I won't divulge just how many hours I've previously devoted to Tales of Symphonia, nor will I make it known that I will be purchasing a Wii primarily for the fact that Tales of Symphonia: The Knight of Ratatosk is slated for release sometime this coming fall.

Emil Castagnier was a timid boy who formed a contract to become a Knight of Ratatosk, serving the mysterious Lord of Monsters of the same name. Together with his partner Marta, he travels the countryside attempting to awaken the sleeping Ratatosk to restore order to a world in chaos.

  • Feb 20, 2016  Why isn't this Tales of Symphonia Chronicles? Because ToS: Dawn of the New World / Knight of Ratatosk already hit near rock-bottom with its initial release on the Wii. There was no need to lower its bar with any further ports after the PS3 port had driven in the final nail.
  • Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World is a pretty good RPG for the Wii. It takes many elements from the previous Symphonia game, but there are some flaws. It also feels like this game isn't a direct sequel to the previous game. However if you are a real ToS-fan, you can add one point to the score.

Tales Symphonia Walkthrough

It was made with fans of the GameCube/Playstation 2 game in mind. The game only gives you two new playable characters and a handful of new characters in the world while you revisit old locations with new paint jobs. Most of the music is carried over as well. That being said, the game does a good job at creating a new conflict that drags everyone into it. The Norse background greatly influences the game's story. The game has a very slow start as you play as Emil, a whiny annoying child who suddenly grows a pair while he's in battle and in his 'Ratatosk Mode', you almost wish that this mode continues for the rest of the game. But if you played the original and can suffer a bit of annoying voice acting then you'll be able to enjoy the game.Full Review »
