Some Dvr you must install activex like webclient.exe.I used burp suite to crack but with dvr with activex i can't get the reguest back to see the wrong pass to check to start brute force. Apr 16, 2018  Suppose if a hacker hacked wifi password then why he/she hack router password? Most of the people hack wifi to use the free internet that’s why people don’t change the default password. Another reason is some people really don’t know how to change the password. Here are default username and password list for every router.

I have a few people that have left our company that had IDMSS lite on their phones with our security cameras. Is there a way I can change some passwords in PSS so they no longer have remote access to our cameras?

Hi,

Yes you can change your passwords. It is always best to set username and passwords for multiple users, this way you can manage what they have access to as opposed to giving them the Admin password.

If you change the password of the DVR/NVR and they are trying to log in with their phone with the incorrect password you will have a world of problems. This will lock that username over and over again. The best thing for you to do is to change the IP address of the system and then change the username and password, but make sure everyone you give access too deletes it from their phone then re adds it with new password.

I apologize, you can keep the IP you have now, just make sure you change the port from 37777 you can use 47777 as long as nothing is using it.

Hi. How to change Password on Mobile for IDMSS Lite on IPhone. Is there a way to change Password on IPhone or do I have to physically be infront of the DVR Recorder to change password?

Im a bit confused because my IPhone is showing Port: 3777, Username: Admin Password: **** but it does not show anywhere with Current Password, New Password, Change Password.

Follow these instructions to reset the password for iDVR-PRO surveillance DVRs. This includes analog 960H models and the latest 1080p HD DVRs.

Password Reset Instructions

1. First, make sure that the unit is turned off.


2. Then press and hold any button on the included infrared remote control.


3. While holding the button on the remote, power on the unit.


4. You should hear a single beep followed by a double beep. Once you hear the double beep, press 1 2 3 5 on the remote control. If entered correctly you will hear a double beep and the DVR will begin to boot. (If entered incorrectly, you will hear a sequence of about eight beeps and then a double beep to prompt you to re-enter 1 2 3 5.)


5. Now that the DVR is booted, you will be prompted to enter the password which is now the default '1234'. Using either the included infrared remote control or a USB mouse, press Menu, followed by System Setup. (Shown Below)


6. Then select the User tab, followed by Management. (Shown Below)


7. In the Management menu, press Edit next to the User ID you wish to change the password for. In most cases, it will be the Admin account. (Shown Below)


8. On the Edit menu, press the Password tab and you will be prompted to enter the current password which is the default '1234'. Press OK to continue. (Shown Below)


9. Now you will be prompted to enter your new desired password. Press OK once complete. The password that you select must have a maximum character count of 8. Your password is now updated. (Shown Below)
